Trinational team at UNCAC resolution negotiations

As part of the preparations for the next Conference of the States Parties (CoSP) to the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) from 15 to 19 December 2025 in Doha, Qatar, the first informal meetings with the UNCAC States Parties took place from 21 to 24 October 2025 at Vienna International Centre (VIC).

Promoting integrity in childhood and adolescence: this is the central element of a draft resolution that Austria, represented by the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK), plans to introduce together with Slovenia and Chile at the next Conference of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption in December in Doha. A delegation from BAK took part in the first round of negotiations, during which the positions of other states were explored and Austria's own ideas were outlined to the international representatives. The talks got off to an intensive and constructive start. Further informal consultations will follow in the coming weeks.
