High-ranking delegation from Vietnam at BAK
On 5 June 2025, a high-ranking delegation from Vietnam visited the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption (BAK).
Led by Phan Dinh Trac, member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), Chairman of the CPV's Committee on Internal Affairs, Vice-Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Commission and the Commission for Judicial Reform, a delegation from Vietnam visited BAK on Thursday. In addition to high-ranking representatives from various Vietnamese authorities, including the CPV Central Committee, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Ambassador of Vietnam to Austria was also a guest at the event.
The Deputy Director of BAK, Lukas Berghammer, and representatives of the BAK's Prevention, Education and International Cooperation Department provided the guests with an overview of the BAK's activities, the fight against corruption in Austria and the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA). Another topic was the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption 2025 (CoSP), which will take place this December in Doha, Qatar.
