"SDG Good Practices”: four examples of the BAK on the online platform of the SDGs

With the "fit4compliance" game about values, the "Correct or Corrupt?" app, the Network of Integrity Officers, and the anti-corruption workshops and events in the education sector, the BAK is contributing considerably to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The four projects were published as good examples on the online database. The BAK thus made a significant contribution to goal 16.5 "...reduce corruption...".

Implementation of SDG 16.5 ("...reduce corruption...”) – another step forward
At a high-level summit of the United Nations in September 2015, the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development (entitled "Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development”) with its 17 SDGs was adopted.

Goal 16: "Peace, justice and strong institutions”
The goal is to "promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”. Target 16.5 is to "substantially reduce corruption and bribery in all their forms”.

Partnerships for SDGs

The "Partnerships for SDGs” online platform is the UN’s global registry of voluntary commitments and multi-stakeholder partnerships made in support of sustainable development and the 17 SDGs.
This platform facilitates the sharing of knowledge and expertise among multi-stakeholder SDG-related partnerships and voluntary commitments, and provides periodic updates on their progress.
It is open to all stakeholders – including Member States, civil society, local authorities, private sector, scientific and technological community, academia, etc. – to register a voluntary commitment or multi-stakeholder partnership aiming to enhance the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs. More than 400 good practices, success stories and lessons learned by all stakeholders in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the SDGs are made available in the online database "SDG Good Practices”.
