IACSS 2010 – ALUMNI SYMPOSIUM

From 27 to 30 September 2010, the Federal Bureau of Anti-Corruption organizes an International Anti-Corruption Summer School (IACSS) in the form of an Alumni Symposium in order to strengthen ties within the alumni network, which has been successfully built up in the past three years.

The programme of the IACSS Alumni Symposium will include guest lectures of renowned anti-corruption scientists and experts, fireside chats as well as meetings and discussions with participants of previous summer schools. Side events as well as an in-detail presentation and visit of the first International Anti-Corruption Academy, IACA, will additionally contribute to the social and global dimension of the event.

The enhancement of the alumni network and the exchange between former participants will be essential elements of the symposium. Therefore, only qualified applicants of former IACSS modules will be accepted.

Please note that the capacities for the IACSS Alumni Symposium are limited. Thus the organizer again reserves the right to select participants, especially according to geographical and diversity criteria. The final application procedure is expected to start in April 2010.

We would also like to inform you that another IACSS, for which new experts are eligible to apply, may possibly take place in 2011. Further information on this event, including application requirements and basic parameters of the programme, would be available from January 2011.
